The Portfolio Risk Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance and quality of the company’s portfolio to identify potential risks, early warning signs, and portfolio deterioration trends. The role ensures effective portfolio monitoring, supports risk mitigation strategies, and contributes to maintaining a healthy and sustainable portfolio performance in line with the company’s risk appetite and policies. Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risk trends and concentration risks. Conduct regular portfolio analysis and prepare risk assessment reports for management. Track delinquency, overdue, and non-performing accounts and recommend corrective actions. Develop and maintain portfolio monitoring dashboards and KPIs. Analyze customer behavior, repayment trends, and sector performance. Coordinate with business, collections, and credit teams to ensure portfolio quality. Escalate high-risk cases and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. Support in stress testing and scenario analysis exercises. Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in enhancing portfolio risk processes, policies, and reporting frameworks. Prepare periodic management reports and presentations related to portfolio performance. Assist in portfolio segmentation and risk-based decision-making activities. · RequirementsKnowledge: Strong knowledge of Portfolio Risk Management principles and practices. Good understanding of SME / Retail lending products and portfolio behavior. Knowledge of credit risk assessment and early warning indicators. Familiarity with CBE regulations and regulatory reporting requirements. Understanding of portfolio monitoring techniques and risk mitigation strategies. Knowledge of financial analysis and portfolio performance metrics. Awareness of risk governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Familiarity with banking and fintech industry practices is preferred. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Professional certifications in Risk Management or Credit Risk are a plus. Experience: 4–7 years of experience in Portfolio Risk, Credit Risk, or Risk Analytics, preferably within banking or fin-tech sectors. Strong understanding of SME / Retail portfolio risk management principles. Experience in portfolio monitoring and risk reporting. Technical Skills: Strong analytical and financial analysis skills. Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools. Knowledge of portfolio risk indicators and early warning signals. Familiarity with CBE regulations and risk governance practices is preferred. Experience with BI tools and risk systems is an advantage. Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic.
