Job DescriptionWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Power Supply Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cairo, Egypt. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in power electronics engineering while advancing your career with a forward-thinking organization.Design and develop power supply circuits and systems, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and reliabilityConduct detailed circuit analysis and simulations using industry-standard tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent software to validate designs before prototypingPerform comprehensive testing, validation, and troubleshooting of power supply prototypes and production units to identify and resolve technical issues efficientlyCreate and maintain clear, organized technical documentation, including schematics, design specifications, test reports, and design reviewsAnalyze and select appropriate power management integrated circuits and passive components for specific applications based on performance requirementsCollaborate with PCB design teams to ensure proper layout, routing, and thermal management for optimal electrical and thermal performanceEnsure all designs comply with relevant electrical safety standards and industry regulations, including IEC, UL, and CE requirementsEvaluate and implement improvements to existing power supply designs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall system reliabilityParticipate actively in design reviews and provide assertive technical recommendations to optimize system performance and innovationSupport manufacturing, quality assurance, and field deployment teams during production phases to ensure seamless implementationStay current with emerging power electronics technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvementCommunicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications**Required Qualifications:**Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fieldProven experience in power supply design and development, including AC-DC and DC-DC conversion systemsStrong knowledge of power electronics, circuit theory, and electrical engineering principlesProficiency with circuit simulation and analysis tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or equivalent softwareExperience with PCB design tools and solid understanding of PCB layout best practices for power applicationsSolid understanding of power management integrated circuits and their applicationsFamiliarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements (IEC, UL, CE)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailExperience in testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic systemsStrong technical documentation and communication skillsOrganized approach to project management and ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments**Preferred Qualifications:**Experience with renewable energy systems or battery management systemsKnowledge of thermal management techniques and heat dissipation solutionsExperience with embedded systems and microcontroller integrationProject management or team leadership experienceFamiliarity with industry-specific design methodologies and quality standardsExperience working in fast-paced, innovative engineering environments
