Principal Site Engineer – Mechanical “HVAC”

As a Principal Site Engineer - HVAC (Mechanical), you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of mechanical HVAC systems on-site. Your role involves coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and safety officers to deliver high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning installations while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and project timelines.Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:Project Coordination & Equipment Management:Supervise and coordinate the execution of mechanical HVAC systems, ensuring alignment with project drawings and technical specifications.Manage the proper use of equipment and materials, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to project requirements.Design Review & Implementation:Analyze and validate HVAC mechanical system designs, ensuring feasibility and accurate application on-site.Cross-check technical drawings with site conditions to identify and address any discrepancies.Project Timeline & Execution:Follow the project schedule and execution plan, ensuring timely delivery of HVAC mechanical system installations.Track progress and report any deviations while implementing corrective measures when necessary.Material & Resource Management:Identify material and equipment needs, securing approvals and ensuring timely procurement.Coordinate with suppliers and site managers to optimize resource allocation.Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance:Enforce safety protocols related to HVAC mechanical installations, working closely with HSE officers.Maintain a well-organized and hazard-free work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Subcontractor & Quality Supervision:Oversee subcontractors’ work to ensure adherence to technical specifications and project requirements.Collaborate with quality control teams to inspect completed work and address any deficiencies.To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.7 to 10 years of experience in HVAC mechanical systems installation and supervision within.large-scale construction projects (experience with hospitals, malls, and hotels is a plus).Strong knowledge of chillers, ductwork, ventilation, air distribution, and mechanicalpiping systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight deadlines.Join Our Team:Join a dynamic and collaborative team consisting of skilled professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions for large-scale construction projects.
