You should enjoy talking to the team, understanding workflows, finding bottlenecks, and building practical solutions.You should be the kind of person who asks: “Why is this manual?” and then figures out how to make it better.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the bug queue across our existing tech stackDebug and fix issues in our API, Admin Portal, Redeem Portal, booking platform, and Wix websiteWork with our external development agency when needed, while gradually taking more ownership in-houseImprove automations in n8nBuild new automations using APIs, AI tools, no-code tools, and custom codeImprove Wix website features, custom-coded elements, ecommerce UX, tracking, and customer-facing flowsImprove the AI-assisted workflows and agents we use internallyMeet regularly with the ops team to understand pain points and spot automation opportunitiesSuggest and build internal tools that save time, reduce manual work, and improve customer experienceHelp us move faster without adding unnecessary complexity or expensive SaaS toolsOwn new projects from problem discovery to launchQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field2–4 years of experience in product engineering, backend development, or automationStrong full-stack development ability, especially with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and APIsPractical automation experience, ideally with n8n or similar toolsComfortable using AI coding tools such as Claude Code and ChatGPTAbility to build with AI tools while still reviewing, testing, and owning the final resultGood judgment around clean, secure, and maintainable codeStrong product mindset and interest in business problemsGood e-commerce UX senseAbility to communicate clearly with a small non-technical teamComfortable working remotely and independentlyPractical approach to tools, budget, and implementation
