Product Owner – HCM / HR Software Product

A growing software company is looking for a Product Owner to lead the development and continuous improvement of a full HCM / HR software product.The product covers multiple HR modules, including Core HR, employee self-service, attendance, payroll-related workflows, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning, talent management, and other advanced HR capabilities.The system may be implemented as a standalone HR solution, integrated with ERP systems, and evolved into a SaaS product model. The role requires a strong combination of HR process understanding, product ownership, business analysis, roadmap thinking, and collaboration with development, QA, stakeholders, and clients.The ideal candidate will own the product from a business and product perspective, drive product requirements and priorities, and ensure alignment between the product vision, business needs, user experience, and the company’s strategic direction. The role is responsible for shaping product features, managing the product backlog, supporting roadmap execution, and ensuring that the product delivers strong business value and scalable growth. Job Responsibilities:Own and manage product requirements, product backlog, and feature prioritization across HCM and HR software modules.Contribute to product vision, roadmap planning, product enhancements, and continuous product improvement initiatives.Analyze HR business processes and translate business needs into product features, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.Work closely with stakeholders, HR subject matter experts, development teams, QA teams, and clients to ensure proper product alignment and successful delivery.Define and validate HR workflows across core and advanced HR modules while ensuring scalability, usability, integration readiness, and SaaS product direction.Participate in release planning, sprint activities, backlog refinement, UAT validation, and product delivery follow-up. 5–7 years of experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, HR Systems, HCM Solutions, SaaS Products, or related software product roles.Strong hands-on experience with HR systems, HCM platforms, HR workflows, and employee lifecycle processes.Strong ability to translate business requirements into product features, workflows, user stories, and product priorities.Solid understanding of product lifecycle, agile methodologies, backlog management, roadmap execution, and software delivery processes.Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.Experience with SaaS products, enterprise software, integrations, Jira/Azure DevOps, and product-related agile tools is highly preferred.
