The HV & EHV Substation Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering high-voltage and extra high-voltage substation projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical specifications and international standards.RESPONSIBILITIESManage the full lifecycle of HV/EHV substation projects, including engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioningDevelop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategiesCoordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, construction) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, subcontractors)Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standardsLead site activities and ensure compliance with HSE policies and proceduresReview and approve technical documents, drawings, and method statementsManage project risks and implement mitigation strategiesPrepare progress reports and present updates to senior management and clientsOversee procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentEnsure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE) and local regulationsManage testing and commissioning activities for substationsHandle contract management, claims, and variationsREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldPMP certification is a strong advantageMinimum 8–12 years of experience in power projects, with at least 5 years in HV/EHV substationsProven experience in managing large-scale substation projects
