The role involves managing the entire purchasing process from supplier identification to procurement execution. Daily tasks include creating and tracking purchase orders, overseeing purchase planning, negotiating with vendors to ensure cost efficiency, handling all the indirect purchases from the smallest office supplies to large factory equipment and analyzing purchasing data to optimize procurement strategies. The Indirect Purchasing Engineer coordinates with internal teams to meet project requirements effectively and ensures compliance with company procurement policies.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering ( Preferably Mechanical )1-2 years of experience in Procurement ( Preferably experienced with import processes ) Experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase PlanningEffective negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skillsFamiliarity with ERP system Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teamsPrior experience in the chemical manufacturing industry is an advantage
