QA Automation Engineer

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency and ensure the robustness of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, programming, and quality assurance best practices.RequirementsDesign, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios based on business and functional requirementsPerform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for banking applicationsDevelop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and AppiumConduct performance and load testing using JMeterParticipate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives)Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up until closureCollaborate with developers using GitLab for version control and CI/CD processesValidate APIs, databases, and backend services where applicableEnsure compliance with banking standards, security, and regulatory requirementsPrepare test reports, defect reports, and quality metrics for stakeholdersContinuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverageRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldISTQB Certification is mandatoryProven experience in software testing within banking or financial services is preferredStrong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Life CycleTechnical Skills:Automation Tools: Selenium (Web Automation), Appium (Mobile Automation), JMeter (Performance Testing)Agile & DevOps Tools: Jira (Defect & Task Management), GitLab (Version Control & CI/CD)Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsProgramming languages (at least one required): Java, JavaScript, or PythonPreferred Skills:Experience with API testing toolsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test integrationFamiliarity with banking systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsBenefitsPrivate Health InsuranceTraining & Development
