Software Test/QC EngineerAccountabilityReviewing Requirements And Other Project Documents, Provide Feedback, Timeestimates and identify areas of riskCreating QA test artifacts (Test Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Results)Executing manual and automated test casesInvestigating issues (found during test efforts or reported from production), log theminto version control and escalateEnsuring that processes are adhered to and provide suggestions for improvementsProviding visibility to development and project team regarding status ofdevelopment/testing progress, and software qualityParticipating in project release planning/delivery effortsMonitoring test, production and trial systems for errorsSetup and maintain Test environmentProducing performance comparison reports and establish performance benchmarksPreparing documentation such as deployment guides, trial guides and release notesMeeting with key stakeholders to determine business system needs and requirementsConducting and reporting on technical and business analysesAssessing new software for compatibility with current systemsEnsuring product quality throughout the development processRequirementsCollege or University degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineAt least one Testing Certification requiredCore Competency RequirementsExecute and support various test phases of a project including support of BusinessAcceptance TestingProven experience with test strategy development, test planning (estimation), test casedesign, defect management and test automationExperience in API testingExperience in Mobile apps testingExperience in Web application testingKnowledge of data integration concepts, change data captureKnowledge of Unix commands/scripting and SQLExperience with source control management systems and continuousintegration/deployment environmentsExcellent analytical skillsAttention to detailExperience in testing automation is a plus
