Planning Lead - Blu EV

Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning (Assembly CKD, SKD & Battery management)Develop detailed production plans for:Motorcycle assembly linesBattery charging, testing, and installationEnsure alignment between CKD/SKD kits, battery supply, and production targetsSequence production based on priority models and demand2. Material & Component PlanningEnsure availability of:Imported kits (CKD/SKD)Batteries and charging cyclesCritical spare partsCoordinate closely with Procurement to avoid shortagesMonitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory3. Capacity & Operations ManagementPlan based on:Line capacityLabor availabilityBattery charging capacityIdentify bottlenecks (e.g., charging stations, welding, painting)Adjust plans to reduce idle time and maximize throughput4. Coordination with OperationsWork closely with:Production (assembly, welding, painting)Warehouse (inbound/outbound materials)Fleet/logistics (distribution readiness)Ensure daily execution of production plan5. KPI Monitoring & ReportingTrack and report:Production adherence (%)On-time order fulfillmentBattery readiness vs planLine efficiencyHighlight risks and propose corrective actions6. System & Process ManagementUse ERP/MRP systems such as SAP ERP or Oracle ERPMaintain accurate BOMs, routing, and planning parametersImprove planning accuracy and system utilization7. Continuous ImprovementImplement Lean practices to reduce wasteImprove planning cycle time and responsivenessSupport cost reduction initiatives (inventory, scrap, idle time)RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain4–7 years' experience in manufacturing planning MRP & MPS (preferably automotive or industry)Strong understanding of:Assembly operationsMRP. MPS Inventory controlAdvanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems
