Role SummaryThe Quality Assurance Head is responsible for developing and enhancing the quality assurance framework within the luxury jewelry manufacturing environment to ensure consistent adherence to craftsmanship, production, and brand standards. The role focuses on strengthening quality systems, improving manufacturing processes, and implementing preventive practices across key production stages.Main Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)Quality Assurance Systems DevelopmentDesign, implement, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality manuals covering all plant operations and jewelry manufacturing processes.Establish and deploy preventive quality tools, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), for new collections,processes, and equipment.Ensure alignment of QA systems with brand standards, craftsmanship requirements, and regulatory expectations. Process Improvement & Risk ManagementConduct trend‑based root cause analysis on recurring quality issues and systemic risks, driving cross‑functional CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions). Analyze quality performance KPIs (e.g.,first‑pass yield, defect trends, process capability) and recommend process andworkflow improvements.Integrate Quality Assurance into New Product Introduction (NPI) processes by validating designs for manufacturability and quality risk mitigation.Ensure effective coordination of processes, documentation, samples, and patterns between Design and Production to supportconsistent quality execution.Training & Culture Building (Audit & Compliance)Develop and deliver QA training programs for artisans and production teams, focusing on standards adherence, defect prevention, and audit readiness.Support internal and external audits by ensuring workforce awareness of quality requirements and procedures.Support the Craftsmanship School by defining QA competency frameworks and quality standards for production‑related roles.Documentation & ReportingManage and maintain a centralized QA documentation library (digital via ERP, SharePoint, or equivalent systems) to support audits, traceability, and scalability.Prepare structured management reports on quality performance, risk exposure, audit outcomes, and improvement impact for leadership review.Key Requirements6-8 years in QA, with preferable within jewelry, metals, or luxury manufacturing, with exposure to QMS implementation. Strong systems thinking capability with hands‑on experience in SOP development, FMEA, and CAPA tailored to jewelry workshop operations.In‑depth knowledge of jewelry‑specific quality standards (e.g., metal purity, gem grading, plating durability) and international compliance requirements (e.g., US FTC, EU hallmarking).Proficiency in QA methodologies and tools (Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, SPC, Lean) and data analysis for quality KPI tracking. Proven ability to design and deliver training programs that promote a preventive, zero‑defect quality culture among artisans.Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.Education & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or a related field.Language: Excellent command of spoken andwritten English and Arabic.Competencies Believe in Magic: (Passion & Commitment)Being enthusiastic and committed to what you are doing inside the organization.
