Job Summary:Drive sales growth and expand distributor coverage through effective management of direct sales distribution and distributor partnerships, while ensuring alignment on channel programmes, trade offers, stock management, and market intelligence.Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:Distribution & Coverage GrowthGrow distributor coverage through both direct sale distributionIdentify and develop new distribution points and key accounts within the territoryDevelop and execute regional coverage plans aligned to national sales targetsMonitor and report on coverage metrics and distribution quality across the regionChannel Communication & Activity ExecutionEnsure clear and accurate communication of channel programmes and trade offers to relevant channels and customersFollow up on the implementation of trade activities and promotions in the regionWork closely with the trade marketing team to drive execution qualityManage in-store visibility and brand standards across all distribution pointsDistributor Management & Stock ControlCoordinate with the regional distributor on monthly orders and stock planningMaintain healthy stock levels in the region to avoid shortages and overstocksReview distributor sell-out data and provide insights to the commercial teamAddress distributor concerns and ensure alignment on business objectivesMarket Intelligence & ReportingConduct regular market visits to gather intelligence on customers, competitors and trade conditionsShare periodic market updates with the National Sales Manager and commercial teamPrepare and submit regular regional performance and coverage reportsTrack and analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and address gapsKey Competencies:Sales & distribution managementDistributor managementCommunicationMarket intelligencePlanning & prioritisationAgilityResults drivenProblem solvingCommercial acumenRelationship buildingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or related fieldMinimum Experience:5+ years sales or distribution management experience in FMCG, lubricants or related industry; 2+ years in a regional or managerial role
