Job Title: Branch Accountant (Retail Operations) Job SummaryWe are looking for a Branch Accountant to oversee and monitor the daily financial activities of company branches. The role is responsible for tracking sales, collections, revenues, branch expenses, deposits, and inventory counts while ensuring the accuracy of financial records and preparing daily operational reports. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and reconcile daily branch sales transactions.Monitor daily cash collections and revenues from all branches.Follow up on branch deposits and ensure timely bank deposits.Verify and record branch operating expenses and petty cash transactions.Prepare daily reports for sales, collections, revenues, and bank deposits.Conduct periodic inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales, cash, inventory, or deposits.Coordinate with branch managers to ensure compliance with financial procedures.Prepare monthly reconciliations and support month-end closing activities.Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Assist in internal and external audits when required. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail or multi-branch operations.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and inventory control.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.Strong analytical and organizational skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.
