Committed to accessibility for all growers, Rivulis focuses on delivering simple, affordable, and smart technologies for every stage of crop production, from design to harvest.OVERVIEW :The District Sales Manager brings knowledge of Irrigation, selling, pricing, marketing, and distribution models within the industry and operates Rivulis's activities in Egypt.He/she directs the business-to-business relationships and identifies and develops new market opportunities. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES :Manage multiple accounts (distributers, dealers & Direct Large Farm) and implement promotional strategies to secure incremental revenue for the business line. Provide expert product knowledge and support regarding Rivulis products.Maximize sales through developing relationships with distributors, contractors, and developers.Create demand for products at end user levels to assist distributors with sales goals.Grow key distributors relationships, understands needs, identifies opportunities, and develops solutions.Recommend distributors changes as necessary and informs management of events, territory occurrences, and other pertinent information.Monitor and track major projects and takes action to increase product exposure and success.Travel frequently across the territory to engage with distributors, specifiers and influencers, including entertaining.Propose and attend trade shows, promotional events, and Agriculture organization functions.Provide support as the primary communicator to the Egypt & East Africa for information on their market's conditions and all area accounts and competition, pertinent to sales progress.EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture engineering or agronomist.10+ of progressive experience preferred in sales or a technical support position with a preferred minimum of five years in Drip Irrigation salesKnowledge of consultative selling techniques in drip irrigation, agency representatives, distribution channels, specification processRivulis irrigation Product appropriate advanced level of knowledge preferredIT : · Pack Office : Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word· Autocad LANGUAGE(S) :· Arabic native· English fluent SKILLS :· Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills · Strong commercial, marketing and business orientation· Negotiation skills and experience in a complex market situation· Solid leadership and administrative skillsOTHER INFORMATION :Valid driver's license and ability to drive.This position is home office based and requires extensive travelling in the region, as well as 2-3 visits per year in some international locations.
