EG Sales Account Executive Job PurposeThe EG Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving sales growth within the Egyptian market by combining commercial sales execution with strong technical and solution understanding.This role bridges sales, pre-sales, and engineering, ensuring customer requirements are translated into technically sound, commercially viable solutions. The position focuses on account management, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and deal closure for technology and services portfolios.Working closely with Pre-Sales, Technical Operations, Service Architecture, Customer Success, and Finance, the role ensures high-quality sales execution and long-term customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Execution & Account Management• Manage assigned customer accounts and sales opportunities within Egypt.• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.• Maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and decision-makers.• Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.• Ensure customer needs are clearly understood and addressed.Technical Solution Positioning• Understand customer technical requirements and business challenges.• Position appropriate solutions and services in collaboration with pre-sales and technical teams.• Participate in technical discussions, workshops, and solution presentations.• Support solution scoping, pricing inputs, and technical clarifications.• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer environments and constraints.Pipeline Management & Forecasting• Maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM/ERP systems.• Track deal progress, sales stages, and expected close dates.• Contribute to accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.• Identify risks, blockers, and required escalations in deals.Commercial & Contract Support• Support preparation of proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Procurement on contracts and approvals.• Ensure compliance with pricing policies and approval workflows.• Support negotiations and deal closure activities.Customer Coordination & Delivery Handover• Act as primary sales contact during pre-sales and contracting phases.• Ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery and customer success teams.• Support customer onboarding and early engagement where needed.• Maintain post-sale engagement to identify expansion opportunities.Reporting & Collaboration• Provide regular sales activity and pipeline reports.• Collaborate with Marketing on lead follow-up and campaigns.• Work closely with Customer Success to ensure satisfaction and retention.• Contribute market insights and feedback to sales management.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation & Certifications• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related field.• Technical or sales certifications are a plus.Experience• Experience in B2B sales, technical sales, or account management.• Exposure to technology, IT services, cloud, security, or digital solutions is preferred.• Customer-facing experience in technical or solution-oriented environments.Technical & Professional Skills• Good understanding of:Technology and services sales cyclesSolution-based selling • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts to customers. • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools. • Strong presentation and proposal support skills.Soft Skills & Competencies• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Customer-centric and results-driven mindset.• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.• Ability to balance technical detail with commercial objectives.• Organized, proactive, and accountable.• Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
