🎯 The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-performing, commercially driven Sales Manager to lead revenue generation for IMRCE Conference & Exhibition.
This is not a typical sales role. You will own the full commercial success of the event, driving:
- Exhibition sales
- Sponsorship packages
- Conference partnerships
- Long-term client relationships

💼 Key Responsibilities
🚀 Revenue Generation & Sales Execution
- Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets across:
- Exhibition booths
- Sponsorship packages
- Branding & advertising opportunities
- Integrated event solutions
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with event growth targets
🧲 Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and close new clients and sponsors
- Generate leads through:
- Cold outreach
- Industry networking
- Market research
- Build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline
🤝 Account Management & Client Retention
- Manage relationships with existing exhibitors and sponsors
- Drive re-booking and long-term partnerships
- Understand client objectives and align offerings to maximize their ROI
👥 Team Building & Sales Leadership
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train high-performing sales team members to support event revenue growth
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team, setting clear targets, KPIs, and performance expectations
- Monitor team performance, provide continuous feedback, and drive accountability to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Build a strong sales culture focused on results, discipline, and continuous improvement
📊 Sales Operations & CRM
- Maintain accurate pipeline and client data using CRM systems
- Track performance against KPIs (revenue, calls, meetings, conversions)
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales targets
🎤 Event Involvement
- Represent RES Global at industry events and meetings
- Support on-site sales, client engagement, and rebooking activities during IMRCE
👤 What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience
- 4–8+ years in B2B sales, preferably in:
- Conferences & exhibitions
- Training / consulting services
- Industrial or technical sectors
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
💡 Skills
- Strong negotiation, closing, and communication skills
- Ability to sell high-value packages (not transactional sales)
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management
- Highly organized with strong pipeline management discipline
