Key Responsibilities:Evaluates freight rate requests received from agents and all offices within the Logistics Group; communicates with shipowners to prepare pricing, creates the most competitive quotations, and shares them with the relevant stakeholders.Develops and maintains strong relationships with shipowners; determines optimum pricing based on technical expertise, while consulting and coordinating with the Headquarters.Establishes and maintains close contact with agents, contributing to the Headquarters’ overseas sales activities.Communicates effectively with agents and all offices within the Logistics Group; collects requests and carries out sales activities in line with individual sales objectives.Contacts contracted and cooperating suppliers to obtain inland transportation rates; ensures required pricing by applying profit margins.Represents the Arkas Logistics brand globally and conducts sales activities by building and managing their own customer portfolio.After completing pricing for agents and all Logistics Group offices and upon successful sales closure, transfers the related operation to the Egypt Operations Center and informs the Headquarters accordingly.The primary focus of this role will be business development and new business acquisition.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.Knowledge of ocean freight pricingBusiness / Technical English proficiencyKnowledge of freight forwarding operationsKnowledge of agency relationship managementSales techniques knowledgeArkas Logistics was founded in 1989 under the umbrella of one of Turkey’s pioneering holdings, Arkas Holding which currently operates in 23 countries with 59 offices, 14 of which are in Turkey.
