Long DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Salesforce Developer at Capgemini is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and platform best practices. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and Salesforce architecture to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.The developer will collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and cross‑functional teams within Capgemini’s global delivery model to support end‑to‑end Salesforce implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Salesforce customizations including:Apex classes and triggersLightning Web Components (LWCs)Visualforce pages (where applicable)Build scalable and secure integrations using Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP)Collaborate closely with functional consultants and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutionsDesign and implement Salesforce data models, sharing rules, and security structuresTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilitiesConduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce and Capgemini development best practicesSupport release management and deployments using CI/CD toolsMaintain clear and comprehensive documentation for technical designs, configurations, and solution architectureStay current with Salesforce releases, features, and development standards, and proactively recommend improvementsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience as a Salesforce DeveloperProficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce APIsSolid understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, and security modelExperience working with integrations and data migration activitiesFamiliarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in distributed and cross-functional teams
