Exposure to other modules is a plus.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand business needs, validate and translate them into SAP solutions.Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within SAP FICO.Cooperating with consultants from other modules such as MM and SD.Work closely with the ABAP development team to design and document technical specifications for WRICEF objects.Validate functional requirements, define logic for custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements, and ensure proper testing before deployment.Support testing (unit, integration, UAT) and troubleshoot issues related to custom developments.Analyze, prioritize, and resolve SAP FICO-related support tickets submitted by internal customers.Escalate complex issues to senior consultants or SAP support when necessary, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.Provide training to the end-users.Follow standard team processes and guidelines and ensure process conformance.Report work progress continuously through attendance of Daily Scrum meetingsParticipate in Weekly meetings/calls with internal and external Product Owners.Contribute effectively in the continuous improvement of his/her project, team, and work environment by submitting improvement proposals whenever possible.Support his/her colleagues whenever required.Raise flags proactively for any issue that can impact his/her project or team.Maintain system documentation, process flows, and training materials.Ensure smooth integration between SAP FICO and other modules (MM, SD) as well as external systems.Ensure adherence to financial regulations (GAAP, IFRS) and internal controls within SAP.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Communication, Electronics, Computer Science, Commerce, or Business Administration.1–3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.Fluency in English, French language proficiency is a strong plus.Employment Details~ The successful candidate will be hired as a contractor and will be part of the Valeo Service Team at ValeoPosition~R&D IS EngineerDépartement~R&D DSIS App TeamSchedule~Temps pleinEmployee Status~CDIType de contrat~Job Posting Date~2026-05-17Join Us !Being part of our team, you will join~ one of the largest global innovative companies, with more than 20,000 engineers working in Research & Development a multi-cultural environment that values diversity and international collaboration more than 100,000 colleagues in 31 countries... which make a lot of opportunity for career growth a business highly committed to limiting the environmental impact if its activities and ranked by Corporate Knights as the number one company in the automotive sector in terms of sustainable developmentMore information on Valeo~ https~//www.valeo.com
