Job PurposeThe SAP SD professional is responsible for the implementation, configuration, customization, maintenance, and support of the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. This role acts as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance) and the IT landscape, ensuring that the SAP system effectively supports and enhances the end-to-end order-to-cash (OTC) process. The individual will analyse business requirements, design effective solutions, and ensure the stability and efficiency of all SD-related functionalities.Location : Nile Corniche Key Responsibilities:Configuration and Customization:*Configure and customize the SAP SD module according to business requirements, including but not limited to:* Sales Document Types (Orders, Contracts, Quotations)* Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories* Pricing Procedures (Condition Techniques), Rebates, Free Goods* Output Determination (Invoices, Order Acknowledgments, etc.)* Account Determination and Revenue Account posting* Availability Check (ATP)* Credit Management* Shipping Point Determination, Route Determination* Billing Types, Billing Plans, and Intercompany Billing* Third-Party Order Processing, Consignment, and Returns ManagementBusiness Analysis and Support:*Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.*Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve SD-related tickets promptly.*Conduct user training and create detailed documentation (process flows, configuration guides, test scripts).Testing and Quality Assurance:*Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests (e.g., with MM, FI/CO, PP), and user acceptance tests (UAT).*Manage and support regression testing for system upgrades, patches, and new implementations.Project Implementation and Enhancement:*Participate in full-cycle SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancement projects.*Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.*Work closely with ABAP developers to specify and validate custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW objects).Integration:*Ensure seamless integration of the SD module with other SAP modules (MM - Materials Management, FI - Financial Accounting, CO - Controlling, PP - Production Planning, WM - Warehouse Management) and external systems (CRM, etc.).Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.* 4+ years of hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP SD module in an ECC or S/4HANA environment.*Proven experience in multiple end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycles.*In-depth understanding of the integrated Order-to-Cash (OTC) process.*Strong knowledge of pricing procedure configuration and account determination.Desirable:*SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales and Distribution.*Experience with S/4HANA simplifications and the new data model (e.g., Business Partner).*Knowledge of integration points with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Financial Accounting (FI).*Experience with IDOCs, EDI, and other interface technologies.*Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for change and transport management.*Basic understanding of ABAP debugging is a significant plus.Key Competencies and SkillsTechnical Skills:*Expert-level knowledge of SAP SD configuration.*Strong understanding of integration with MM, FI, and LE.*Proficiency in using SAP Solution Manager.*Knowledge of testing tools and methodologies.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:*Excellent analytical skills to dissect complex business problems and design effective solutions.*Strong root-cause analysis and troubleshooting abilities.Communication and Interpersonal Skills:*Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.*Ability to build strong relationships with business users and team members.Project and Time Management:*Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.*Strong organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset.
