The positionBACKGROUNDThe Om Habibeh Foundation (OHF) is an Egyptian non-profit organization established in 1991 under the supervision of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. OHF is the implementation agency for the Aga Khan Foundation Egypt and is an affiliate of the Aga Khan Development Network of organizations and was founded by Om Habibeh Mohamed Shah Aga Khan to contribute to and support local communities in the Governorate of Aswan in areas including health care, education, and providing income for deprived communities through long-term development activities. OHF works in the following areas: Continuing Education, Civil Society, Agriculture and Food Security, Economic Inclusion, Women Empowerment and Early Childhood Development.Position ObjectivesSecuring the organization's building inside and outside, ensuring the safety of the building, individuals, and property, providing rapid response in emergency situations, and recording visitors' entry and exit.Core ResponsibilitiesSecurity & Monitoring: Securing the building from inside and outside. Ensuring that doors and windows are closed after working hours. Monitoring entry and exit. Recording visitors' information and verifying their identity. Conducting regular patrols inside and outside the building to ensure no risks exist. Protecting the institution's assets and property. Monitoring CCTV cameras and operating basic security equipment. Emergency & Incident Management: Responding quickly in emergency situations. Acting as the first point of contact for health and safety emergencies until professional help arrives. Drafting clear and accurate daily shift reports and incident reports when emergencies or breaches occur. Professional Conduct: Complying with instructions and accurately implementing management directives. Adhering to working hours and discipline and being prepared to extend working hours if required. Maintaining good relations with others. Demonstrating courtesy when dealing with employees and visitors. Preserving a neat appearance and professional behavior. The RequirementsQUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience working as a security guard, preferably within an NGO, corporate, or structured administrative environment. Certifications: Valid First Aid, CPR, or basic fire safety certification is highly preferred. Minimum requirement, such as "High School Diploma or equivalent Skills & Competencies Experience in problem-solving and making quick decisions during any emergency situation. Skills in effective communication with employees and visitors. Commitment and discipline in performing tasks. Ability to interact well with visitors and maintain the institution's professional image.
