Job DescriptionGPE PA Egypt Center LeaderJOIN A TEAM RECOGNIZED FOR LEADERSHIP, INNOVATION AND DIVERSITYPurpose of the JobThe purpose of Global Engineering Services leader role is to lead GPE PA – Global Project Execution – Process Automation Egypt team of around 15+ engineers in Control, Safety, HMI, Batch, Cyber, Systems, Migrations, software configuration, etc., across all LOBs of HPS. The GPE PA leader will drive key metrics of GPE PA like engineering hours, share of GPE PA in overall engineering hours, customer satisfaction, billability, serviceability, cost, etc.Responsibilities Principal Responsibilities The Principal Responsibility Of This Position Is Share a vision and mission for the GPE PA Egypt team. Keep very high employee motivation to deliver on quality and schedule for all assignments. Drive employee engagement and keep attrition under control for key positions. Drive standard HR Processes like HPD, succession planning, performance driven differentiation. Effective employee communication through skip level meetings, town halls, focus group communications etc. Drive talent acquisition with staffing function and maintain skills and competencies of the team in line with LOB requirements. Drive compliance by supporting GMS, Finance and HR teams for all statutory requirements for taxes, immigration, and employment related requirements. Drive improvements and report key metrics for GPE PA like – engineering hours, billability, customer satisfaction, cost, flex %, BTI support, skills and competencies, etc. Drive adoption of tools and deliver Engineering productivity as per AOP. Participate in Demand calls and prepare Demand plans for all LOBs. Close coordination with Engineer Leaders and business leadership to meet business requirements Work with global HPS front offices to maximize GPE PA content and maintain effective communication with Global LOBs. Demonstrate global mindset by working in a OneGPE environment. Drive continuous improvements projects for productivity and participate and lead Kaizen workshops, Kaizen events. Drive Six Sigma adoption Maintain day to day operations for entire GPE PA Egypt team. Principal Networks & Contact Links HPS PAS, LSS, HCI, Cyber Engineering Leadership in Europe and META Europe operations and engineering team across LOBs. Global engineering and operations team of all LOBs. All GPE PA centers leadership team. Supervisory Responsibilities Ability to manage a team of 15+ engineers to deliver deliverables in most cost effective way insuring quality and adherence to schedules Ability to interact with the Global engineering team and get the GPE PA and Project office work efficiently to achieve business results QualificationsGeographic Scope & Travel RequirementsRequiredThe position is based out of Cairo, and will require travel to other office in Europe and other geographies as required:20% Prepare and complete action plans20% Implement production20% Customer-service standards completing audits20% Determine system improvement20% Addresses barriersYOU MUST HAVE Degree in engineering - Instrumentation and Control or equivalent Senior experience as a Advanced System Engineer / Advanced Field services engineer . Should have worked as engineer / lead engineer for hands on experience Experience Essential In Design, engineering, and deployment activities for control engineering / PLCs, panels, instrumentation, TAS, Software Configuration etc. Customer interfacing, project management and resource management. Operations management for achieving the business results. Basic experience working in a large multinational organization in a highly matrix environment. Experience setting up and maintaining operating systems such as HOS, and improvement tools like Six Sigma.
