Position InformationJob Title: Senior DesignerDepartment: DesignReports To: Design Team LeaderLocation: CairoDays Off: Friday & SaturdayJob PurposeThe Senior Designer is responsible for producing full detailed schematic designs by interpreting concept designs based on client needs and preferences in a timely manner.Key ResponsibilitiesProjects Concept & DesignReceive design phase timelines, project scope, client requirements, and start dates from the Design Team Leader.Understand concept designs and gather insights regarding client needs and preferences including:Space layout plansMood boardsLook & feelPreferred colors and materialsBudget and special requirementsConduct site visits for assigned projects to better understand the space and apply designs realistically.Develop interior architectural layouts, furniture layouts, and landscape layout alternatives as required.Finalize presentations for client meetings including:Main space designsFurniture layoutsMaterial and color selectionsSubmit finalized designs to the Technical Design Team through the Project Manager for preparation of detailed technical drawings.Coordinate with the Technical Design Team to explain all project details and client requirements.Review lighting designs with the technical team from an application perspective.Apply technical feedback and required modifications after alignment with the Design Team Leader and Project Manager.Provide regular project progress updates to the Design Team Leader.KPIs & ObjectivesCustomer satisfaction rate with minimal complaintsAverage number of drawing reworks versus standardPercentage of projects delivered on timeQualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.Experience5–7 years of experience in the same field.LanguageExcellent English proficiency.Computer SkillsVery good command of design software such as AutoCADVery good command of presentation software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and ExcelVery good command of Microsoft Office applicationsWork ConditionsBased in Cairo Head OfficeTwo days off per week (Friday & Saturday)External missions: Rare
