This role involves representing EY with government authorities, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor and immigration regulations.You will work closely with multiple ministries and regulatory bodies while supporting onboarding, visa processes, and broader employee compliance requirements across the business.Your Key ResponsibilitiesManage documentation and submissions for visas, work permits, visa stamping, and attestation of certificatesHandle immigration and government relations cases, providing regular updates and recommending solutions to resolve issuesLiaise with relevant Egyptian authorities (e.g., Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, National Organization for Social Insurance, Financial Regulatory Authority, Central Bank, and other regulatory bodies)Stay updated on changes in government regulations and communicate updates to the teamSupport inbound and outbound visa processes, including submissions to embassies and consulatesEnsure compliance with immigration and labor regulations in coordination with business stakeholdersCollaborate with recruitment and pre-joining teams to support smooth onboarding of new hiresCoordinate with finance to ensure payroll compliance with social insurance regulationsEscalate high-risk or complex cases to the Cluster Lead with clear recommendationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with government entities to support efficient processingSupport renewal and registration processes (e.g., Auditor registrations, trade licenses, professional syndicates)Handle employee registrations with relevant professional and regulatory bodiesSkills And Attributes For SuccessStrong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and immigration proceduresHigh level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee dataStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage complex cases and provide practical solutionsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesStrong relationship-building and networking capabilities with government entitiesProactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approachIdeally, you’ll alsoHave experience working in a multinational or professional services environmentPossess strong understanding of payroll processes linked to social insurance regulationsWhat We Look ForWe are looking for a reliable and experienced immigration professional who can effectively manage government relations, ensure compliance, and provide practical, solutions-driven support to the business while maintaining strong external relationships.What We Offer YouAt EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
