Job Description - Grade SpecificCapgemini Group Procurement is looking for French and English-speaking Senior Buyer for its Engineering Projects category focusing on sourcing activities within the engineering world, quotation & contract management as well as supplier performance.The Engineering Projects Category aims to deliver quality support, especially for the Capgemini Engineering business line, for both internal and resale activities, concerning hardware and services delivered from third parties. We support businesses operating in multiple sectors such as automotive, energy, defense, connectivity, aircraft, space, railway, robotics & automation, engineering services and more.Main accountabilitiesProviding sourcing activities within the Engineering Projects Procurement Category about the European scopeBuilding the Procurement Engineering category with high decision impactStrategic supplier relationships and delivery alignmentDriving compliance to contracts and cost optimization through saving initiativesLeading bids (e.g., Sourcing RFP's and Client Bid support), contracting and performance improvementsBuilding internal and external networks for an efficient project and business supportDriving adoption of procurement policies and processes Working closely with global teams: Finance, Legal, GDPR, Cybersecurity, Procurement Operational Back Office, Group ITExtending your existing knowledge as subject matter expert for the supported country and scopeWorking with and being supported by an international team of Engineering BuyersRequirementsIf you like taking ownership, making decisions and would like to work in an international environment as well as:Preferable 1-2+ years of Sourcing experience in ProcurementFluency in written and spoken English and FrenchAn engineer's degree or technical background is considered an additional asset but not requiredGood knowledge of MS Office package, including MS ExcelExperience with ERP systems and P2P process understandingInterest in the Engineering supply market and developmentsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders, eager to develop negotiation skills
