Senior Dispatch EngineerSukari is located approximately 750km from Cairo and 25km from Marsa Alam on the Red Sea. First gold was poured in June 2009 and commercial production began in April 2010, making Sukari the first modern gold mine in Egypt, a country which in ancient times was a prolific producer of the precious metal. Sukari conducts both open-pit and underground mining operations, each employing specialized mining methods tailored to the orebody characteristics and operational requirements. The Role We are looking for a Senior Dispatch Engineer optimizes the real-time utilization and productivity of the open-pit mining fleet using advanced Fleet Management Systems (FMS). This role monitors and directs the allocation of heavy mining equipment to maximize material movement safely, minimize queue times, and meet daily production and blending targets. Location: On-site in Marsa AlamContract Type: Permanent, full-timeSchedule: 20/10 working rosterCompensation: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package The Key ResponsibilitiesManage and optimize the real-time Fleet Management System configuration to maximize production throughput, shovel utilization, and truck payload efficiency.Monitor shift production against targets, dynamically reallocating hauling and loading units to resolve bottlenecks, unexpected breakdowns, or changing pit conditions.Coordinate closely with pit supervisors, geology teams, and short-term planners to ensure accurate grade control compliance and precise execution of blending strategies at the run-of-mine pad and waste dumps.Lead the tracking and reporting of shift production metrics, equipment utilization, and operational delays, ensuring high data integrity within the dispatch system database.Identify and troubleshoot system hardware or software connectivity issues between the dispatch office and field units, coordinating with IT and instrumentation teams for rapid resolution.Mentor and train junior dispatch controllers and operators on optimal system usage, best operational practices, and standard operating procedures. The Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering.Minimum of 5 years of operational experience in a large-scale open-pit mining environment.At least 3 years specializing directly in dispatch operations and fleet management systems.Advanced proficiency in industry-standard Fleet Management Systems (such as Modular Mining Dispatch, Jigsaw, Wenco, or Minestar) and mine productivity reporting software.Strong understanding of open-pit mining sequences, haulage cycle dynamics, and data analytics.
