The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality HVAC designs across all project stages, from concept through detailed design, ensuring compliance with international standards, local authority requirements, and project specifications.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing HVAC systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and industrial developments while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Key ResponsibilitiesHVAC DesignDesign and develop complete HVAC systems for building projects.Prepare Concept, Schematic, Detailed Design, Tender, and IFC drawings.Design chilled water systems, DX systems, Central ventilation systems, smoke management systems.Prepare HVAC layouts, schematics, and equipment schedules.Coordinate HVAC designs with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection disciplines.Select HVAC equipment and ensure compliance with project requirements.Engineering CalculationsPerform and review:Cooling and heating load calculations.Ventilation calculations.Duct sizing and static pressure calculations.Pipe sizing calculations.Pump head calculations.Fan selection and static pressure calculations.Equipment sizing and selection.Energy efficiency assessments.BIM & CoordinationDevelop and coordinate HVAC BIM models using Autodesk Revit.Prepare coordinated BIM models (LOD 300–400).Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks.Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP).Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and coordinated project delivery.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.8–14 years of experience in HVAC Design Consultancy.Experience working on commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, and industrial developments.UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.Technical SkillsAutodesk Revit (Mandatory)Navisworks (Mandatory)AutoCADHAPDuct SizerPipe SizerMicrosoft Office SuiteCompetenciesHVAC System DesignEngineering CalculationsBIM CoordinationTechnical Problem SolvingMultidisciplinary CoordinationAttention to DetailTime ManagementCommunication SkillsQuality AssuranceClient & Authority Coordination
