Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects.Ensure all mechanical designs comply with regulations and client requirements.Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems.Oversee the entire lifecycle of mechanical engineering projects, from concept through to completion.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure they are adhered to.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure mechanical systems and components meet specified standards.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maintain project schedules.Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and manuals.Generate regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and potential risks.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.Proven track record in leading and delivering complex mechanical engineering projects.Proficiency in mechanical engineering software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and HVAC design software.
