This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to quickly build technical skills in the field of network cabling, working directly under an experienced Technical Supervisor.As a Network Cabling Technician, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of structured network cabling systems used to support critical communications infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic network cablingFollow routing, labeling, and documentation practices (training provided)Work closely with network engineers and IT teams to ensure proper connectivityPerforms cable moves, adds, and changes as instructedTroubleshoot Cabling-related network issues under supervisionConduct cable testing and certification using standard toolsMaintain accurate records of cabling layouts and equipmentSupport safe, clean, and efficient work conditionsAssist with inventory of cabling materials and toolsCommunicate clearly with supervisors and onsite project staffPerform additional tasks assignedQualificationsIdeal for entry-level candidates willing to learn; however, the following experience is a plus:Some exposure to network cabling or interest in technical fieldworkFamiliarity with Ethernet, copper, or fiber cabling (helpful but not required)Ability to learn standards such as TIA/EIA, ANSI, BICSIComfort using tools, ladders, and working in both office and industrial environmentsAbility to follow instructions, adapt quickly, and stay productivePhysically able to lift equipment and work in confined spacesPrior experience with U.S. Government/DoS environments is beneficial but not requiredWho Should ApplyIndividuals with high motivationPeople looking for a technical career pathFast learners who enjoy physical, hands-on workCandidates seeking long-term career development opportunitiesPlease submit your CV and contact details to the recruiting team.
