The Senior Network & Security professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise network and security infrastructures. This role ensures business continuity by protecting information assets, mitigating risks, and supporting IT projects with advanced expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and security frameworks. The position also involves leading complex troubleshooting, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with other IT teams to align network and security solutions with business objectives.Key Responsibilities:•Maintain & configure network and security reference architectures, covering LAN/WAN/WLAN, data center fabric, SD-WAN, and Cloud WAN environments.•Deployment of next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, SonicWALL), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).•Configure, manage, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and access points to ensure high availability and performance.•Deploy and fine-tune scalable wired and wireless networks utilizing technologies.•Implement and manage dynamic routing protocols , VLANs, and Quality of Service (QoS) to meet business SLAs.•Enforce security controls including firewalls (ASA, Firepower, Palo Alto, SonicWALL), VPNs (site-to-site and remote access).•Monitor network and system performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Wireshark; analyze traffic.•Root cause investigations for critical outages; develop and apply corrective and preventive actions to mitigate recurrence.•Support secure segmentation through VLAN architecture and VPN deployment to ensure controlled access and isolation.•Provide Tier 2 support for network and security incidents, troubleshooting complex issues and fulfilling service requests.•Analyze security logs and network data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and proactively mitigate risks.•Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure integrated network and security across the organization.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering , or a related field.•2 -6 years of experienceCertifications:•CCNA/CCNP (Routing & Switching / Security)•Vendor-Specific Security Certified Professional
