Job Title: Senior Odoo DeveloperLocation: Hybrid , Hyde Park , New CairoEmployment Type: Full-timeJob SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Odoo Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of Odoo ERP solutions across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in architecting scalable Odoo systems, leading complex customizations, integrations, and deployments, and mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and management to translate strategic business needs into robust technical solutions.Key Responsibilities Lead the development, customization, and maintenance of Odoo modules (Community & Enterprise). Architect and implement complex Odoo solutions across Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, and Operations. Design and develop custom Odoo modules aligned with business processes and scalability requirements. Lead and review Odoo integrations with third-party systems via APIs (REST, XML-RPC, Webhooks). Ensure high code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to Odoo best practices. Develop and optimize advanced QWeb reports, dashboards, and automated workflows. Diagnose and resolve complex system and performance issues. Oversee deployments, upgrades, and migrations between Odoo versions. Define and enforce security rules, access rights, and data integrity standards. Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and technical guidance. Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and business leaders. Participate in technical decision-making, architecture planning, and roadmap discussions.Required Qualifications 4+ years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Developer. Strong expertise in Python, Odoo ORM, and Odoo framework internals. Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization. Proven experience with both Odoo backend and frontend development. Strong knowledge of XML, QWeb, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with multiple Odoo versions (v14, v15, v16 or later). Solid experience working in Linux-based production environments. Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows. Experience leading ERP implementations or large-scale Odoo projects.Nice to Have Experience with Odoo.sh, AWS, or other cloud hosting platforms. Experience with Odoo performance tuning and large database handling. Knowledge of accounting, supply chain, HR, or multi-company setups. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Odoo certification(s).Soft Skills Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical architecture. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects.
