Job OverviewThe Senior Presales Engineer for AV Systems is responsible for designing cutting-edge, professional audiovisual solutions for commercial, educational, and hospitality environments. This role requires an expert who can translate client requirements into comprehensive technical designs, ensuring optimal user experience and system interoperability.Key Responsibilities System Design & Engineering: Design comprehensive AV solutions including Meeting Room Solutions, Public Address/Background Music (PAVA/BGM), Video Walls, Digital Signage, and Auditorium setups. Documentation & Estimation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs), technical compliance statements, system architecture diagrams (using AutoCAD/Visio), and detailed cost sheets. Value Engineering: Propose alternative solutions and products to meet client budgets without compromising system functionality or quality. Vendor Coordination: Engage with leading AV distributors and to obtain technical validations, special pricing, and system integration strategies. Sales Support: Assist the sales team in identifying AV opportunities. Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to consultants and end-users.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of dedicated experience in Audiovisual presales, design, or engineering.Strong understanding of AV over IP, acoustic principles, video routing, and control systems.Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS/CTS-D or key manufacturer certifications (Crestron, Extron) are highly desirable.Proficiency in AV design tools and AutoCAD.
