Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Simulation Engineer who can take ownership of project execution, represent the team in front of clients, guide junior engineers, and deliver high-quality simulation work independently.The role focuses primarily on Operator Training Simulator (OTS) projects, with opportunities to expand into Digital Twin and Monitoring Systems solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute Operator Training Simulator (OTS) projects from kick-off to client acceptance, ensuring quality and timely deliveryParticipate in Kick-off Meetings (KoM), client technical discussions, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Develop and validate steady-state and dynamic simulation models for process systemsIntegrate Distributed Control Systems (DCS) including Emerson DeltaV, Foxboro/Schneider Electric, Yokogawa, Siemens, and ABBBuild control emulation environments and implement PLC logic and Cause & Effect DiagramsPerform thermodynamic and dynamic analyses, engineering calculations, and data reconciliationConfigure and support OTS architectures and related simulation environmentsMentor and support junior engineers on technical activities and project executionProvide technical input and effort estimations for proposals and bids when requiredReview engineering deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirementsRequirementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Chemical or Petrochemical EngineeringMinimum 6 years of experience in Process Simulation, OTS Configuration, or Process Plant OperationsExperience within Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Power, or Water Treatment industriesHands-on experience with one or more simulation platforms such as:AVEVA Dynamic Simulation (Dynsim)AVEVA Process SimulationAspen HYSYSAspen Plus / Aspen DynamicsHoneywell UniSimEquivalent simulation softwareStrong understanding of P&IDs, PFDs, Control Narratives, and process documentationProven leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and work independentlyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsFluent English language skillsWillingness to travel and work on international assignmentsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Advanced Process Control (APC) and Real-Time Optimization (RTO)Familiarity with Digital Twin solutions, Unified Engineering, and Asset Management systemsExposure to Monitoring Systems such as Leak Detection, Performance Monitoring, and PEMSUnderstanding of proposal preparation and bidding processesWhat We OfferExposure to international projects and clientsOpportunities to work on advanced OTS, Digital Twin, and Monitoring System technologiesCollaborative and technically driven work environmentBenefits Annual bonus Health insurance and wellness programs Professional development and training opportunities
