Senior Procurement officer -Manufacturing Experience

We are recruiting for our client multinational manufacturing company located in 6 of October city .Position: Senior Procurement officerReporting to: Procurement LeadIndustry :manufacturer of home and personal care products.Key Requirements:- Experience: at least 4 years in procurement, especially in personal care chemicals & packaging materials purchasing within a manufacturing setting.- Extensive knowledge of personal care Chemicals & Packaging Materials purchasing within a manufacturing company.- Bachelors of Engineering is a must- Advanced user level of SAP; knowledge on legislation (ISP / REACH)Responsibilities:Strategic Sourcing BuyingNegotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.Seek cost improvements in purchased products.Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliersSupport contracts’ implementationsLead, negotiate and execute all sourcing activities in every phase of the product life cycle.Supplier ManagementManage supplier relationships including quality and supply issues, improving supplier performance, and building successful Supply chain partnerships.Collaborate with Finance to ensure supplier POT (Payment on Time)Supplier OTIF (On Time in Full) percentageSupplier SNCR (Supplier Non-Conformance Reports) for material quality trackingContribute to short- and long-term service and quality improvement projects together with suppliers.Handling REACH Documents to be provided in full from Supplier.Purchasing Operations, Planning & ExecutionParticipate in meetings with planners, technical, quality and development teams to share updated information, cultural and professional experiences, provide standard information and know-how and process improvement among all the organizational stakeholders with relations with the procurement department.Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targetsMain point of Escalation with the supplier for all internal requestsTrack orders and ensure timely delivery.Review the quality of purchased products.Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases.Work conditions :- From 9am to 5 pm- Friday & Saturday Off​Company benefits:- A very attractive salary along with other attractive benefitsApplication Instructions:Review the qualifications listed in the job posting.Send your updated CVInclude your expected salary (net) and notice period in the body of your email.Send your application to: jobs@hala-consulting.comMake sure to mention the job title in the email subject to avoid your CV being overlooked.
