We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a nationwide education digital transformation initiative in close partnership with the Ministry of Education of Oman. This role carries full accountability for the successful end-to-end execution of a complex, multi-year program that spans technology, operations, governance, and large-scale organizational change.The Senior Project Manager will act as the primary delivery owner and strategic interface between Classera and the Ministry of Education, ensuring that all program components are aligned with national education objectives, contractual commitments, and government delivery standards. This includes overseeing multiple interdependent workstreams, coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring that the program is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality benchmarks.This is a mission-critical leadership role requiring deep experience in managing large public-sector programs, particularly within government or ministry environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution capability, with the credibility to engage confidently with senior government officials while maintaining disciplined delivery governance across complex operational environments.Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & End-to-End DeliveryThe Senior Project Manager will assume full ownership of the planning, execution, and delivery of the national education digital transformation program. The Senior Project Manager will translate complex technical and operational topics into clear, decision-ready information for senior stakeholders, supporting effective governance and timely approvals. Delivery Governance, Risk Management & Quality AssuranceA core responsibility of the role is the implementation and enforcement of robust delivery governance frameworks aligned with government best practices, PMO standards, and audit requirements.This IncludesEstablishing clear reporting structures and performance dashboardsMonitoring progress against approved milestones and success criteriaTracking budget utilization, forecasts, and financial variancesEnsuring quality assurance processes are embedded throughout deliveryThe Senior Project Manager will proactively identify risks, dependencies, and potential points of failure, developing mitigation strategies to prevent delays, cost overruns, or scope creep. They will oversee testing cycles, user acceptance testing (UAT), formal sign-offs, and structured handover processes to ensure all deliverables meet agreed standards and are formally accepted by the Ministry. Cross-Functional & Partner CoordinationThe role requires close coordination across multiple internal Classera teams, including:Product managementEngineering and developmentData, integrations, and platform servicesCustomer success, support, and operationsIn addition, the Senior Project Manager will manage third-party vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that external dependencies are aligned with the overall delivery plan and contractual obligations.A key focus will be ensuring alignment between technical delivery and educational outcomes, maintaining a clear connection between system functionality and real-world impact within schools and institutions. Change Management, Rollout & AdoptionBeyond system delivery, the Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning and execution of national-scale deployment and adoption activities.
