Core Responsibilities:Cost Control & Estimation: Preparing, managing, and monitoring project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.Quantity Surveying & Measurement: Performing accurate take-offs from drawings, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and checking site progress.Contract Administration: Handling contractual claims, variations, change orders, and ensuring compliance with contract terms (e.g., FIDIC).Invoicing & Payments: Reviewing and certifying client invoices and subcontractor payment applications.Procurement Support: Assisting in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers, including preparing technical and commercial comparison sheets.Reporting & Coordination: Liaising with site teams, planners, and clients, and reporting cost performance to senior management. Required Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.Experience: 7-8+ years in quantity surveying, specifically within contracting or consultancy firms.Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel), and QS software like CostX or PlanSwift.Key Competencies:Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.Excellent attention to detail
