Job Purpose: The job holder supports the coordination, and execution of professional training programs in the field of Television and Digital Journalism. He or She ensures the effective delivery of all professional development programs (PDP) through logistical management, instructor coordination, data tracking, and participant engagement. The role plays a key part in maintaining the program’s high quality and responsiveness to the evolving media industry across the Middle East.Core Responsibilities:Program Coordination:Coordinate the implementation of all PDP programs, in-person and online, ensuring smooth delivery in collaboration with instructors, and partnersLogistics:Administer logistics for training venues, materials, transportation, and participant coordinationSupport final events and internal or external reporting requirementsInstructor and Partner Relations:Liaise with instructors, trainers, and co-instructors to ensure high-quality delivery of workshops and coursesMaintain communication with local and international partners to enhance program quality and reachStudent Services:Administer student registration through Banner, monitor payments, and provide timely support to participants throughout their program cycleServe as the link between the department and other university officesAdminister student inquiries and accommodate their requests concerning the delivery of courses or content affairsData Management and Reporting:Maintain and update databases for participants, alumni, and social media followersTrack and document program outcomes, prepare reports, and support internal evaluationsOutreach Support:Assist with the preparation of promotional materials, digital communication, and social media outreach to increase program visibilityQuality Control for live sessions:Supervise the delivery of all online live sessions to assure the proper delivery of the content and to accommodate the students’ inquiriesCollect participant feedback, identify improvement areas, and provide recommendations to enhance the impact and efficiency of the programTraining:Provide training support to the instructors and co-instructors on how to use Moodle for building courses, feedback and gradesDesign and Delivery:Supervise the design, development and delivery of professional education programs catering to diverse learnersGeneral Support:Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in mass communication or related disciplineProfessional certification or diploma in digital media or communication preferredFive to seven years of progressive experience in academic, training, or professional development settingsExperience coordinating workshops, training sessions, or educational programsSkills:Program Coordination: Ability to manage multiple concurrent training activitiesDigital Skills: Strong social media and web content management abilitiesAdministrative Systems: Familiarity with SAP and Banner for registration and financial transactionsDesign and Marketing: Basic skills in Photoshop or similar design tools for promotional contentCommunication: Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills in both English and ArabicThis position is open until May 14, 2026.Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
