Senior Taxation Manager

The Senior Taxation Manager at Nawy Real Estate is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's entire taxation function. This position involves managing tax compliance, tax planning, and risk management while ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the taxation team, providing strategic guidance and oversightDevelop and implement comprehensive tax strategies to optimize the company's tax positionEnsure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at local, national, and international levelsOversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns and tax provision calculationsManage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and consultantsMonitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organizationAdvise senior management and stakeholders on tax implications of business decisionsDrive continuous improvement in tax processes and controlsIdentify tax risks and develop mitigation plansPrepare detailed tax reports and presentations for executive leadershipRequirementsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent advanced tax certification highly preferredAt least 10 years of progressive experience in taxation, with substantial experience in a managerial or senior managerial roleDeep knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, preferably within the real estate industryProven experience in developing and implementing tax strategiesStrong leadership and team management abilitiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersProficiency in tax software, financial systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
