We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester / Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software products. As a Senior Tester, you will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, lead test automation initiatives, and mentor junior QA team members while working closely with development, DevOps, product, and business teams.You will be responsible for preventing defects, identifying risks early, and continuously improving our testing processes to support faster and more reliable releases.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.Lead the development and execution of automated test suites (UI, API, integration, performance, and regression testing).Mentor and guide junior testers on best practices, test design, and automation techniques.Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability of user stories.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure fast feedback loops.Perform manual exploratory, functional, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing when needed.Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.Conduct test environment setup and data management.Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.Execute performance, load, and security testing (in coordination with specialized teams).Participate in code reviews of test automation scripts.Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage metrics.Contribute to the definition and monitoring of quality KPIs and dashboards.Stay up-to-date with latest testing tools, frameworks, and industry trends. Experience:3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.1+ years of experience in a Senior QA / Test Lead role.Proven experience testing complex, large-scale applications (web, mobile, microservices).Technical Skills (Must-Have):Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar).Advanced experience with API testing (RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or equivalent).Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#).Solid experience with CI/CD integration for testing (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).Experience with test management tools (TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, or Jira).Good understanding of databases (SQL) and ability to write complex queries for test data validation.Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and shift-left testing practices.Preferred Qualifications:ISTQB Advanced Level certification or equivalent.Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling).Knowledge of security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave).Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android) using Appium or native tools.Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).Background in test data management, mocking, and service virtualization.Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG) and cross-browser/device testing.Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset.Effective communication and stakeholder management.Ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Flexible/remote or hybrid work options.Latest testing tools and learning opportunities.Career growth into QA Lead, Test Architect, or SDET roles.
