Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Service Sales Manager__Your role and responsibilities:In this role you will be working as Service Sales Specialist and will be the part of Motion business area for Service division based in Cairo, Egypt In this role you will be responsible for driving service sales process in collaboration with the Service sales manager , generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated area(s), focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units, building long term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.The work model is: onsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:Implementing the service sales strategy, driving installed base (IB) penetration, and promoting upgrade, retrofit, and value-added solutions aligned with ABB objectivesReviewing Market pricing structures, preparing sales plans, tracking performance, and recommending corrective actions as neededMaintaining accurate installed base data in ServIS and analyzing customer assets to identify service growth opportunities across existing and new IBPromoting the full Motion Service portfolio to achieve profitable growth and expand ABB’s regional presenceDeveloping, negotiating, and securing Service Agreements (maintenance contracts, LTSA, frame agreements) with key customers, ensuring recurring business and long-term customer retentionConducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) with customers to identify modernization, upgrade, and lifecycle optimization opportunitiesBuilding and maintaining long-term customer relationships by understanding customer needs, operational challenges, and regulatory requirementsDemonstrating strong technical knowledge to present ABB Motion service solutions effectively and support lifecycle management (LCM) discussionsRepresenting ABB in customer meetings, marketing events, trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences to promote Service offeringsTranslating customer needs into tailored service solutions while supporting commercial and technical risk assessmentsEnsuring all sales activities, opportunities, and customer updates are accurately recorded in SalesforceEnsuring compliance with ABB safety, quality, and reliability standards in all service proposals and customer engagements DimensionsQualifications For The RoleYou have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, or Mechatronics EngineeringYou have minimum + 6 years of experience in service salesYou possess preferable experience working within Egypt and North Africa marketPossess solid understanding with Motion product such as Drives, Motor and GeneratorsYou are at ease communicating in English and Arabic, knowledge of French is an assetPossess sales, communication, and negotiation skillsPossess teamwork, self-motivated and proactive attitudeAbility to travel to customer meeting, corporates trainingBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
