Job Description SummaryThe Service Business Operations Leader will drive business processes and own the wing-to-wing P&L for GE HealthCare Services, Northeast Africa. He/she will work cross-functionally to drive first class service contract process execution, data accuracy, billing excellence and P&L productivity.Job DescriptionBusiness & Financial ManagementOwn and drive the Services P&L for the NEA region, including revenue execution, cost control, and productivity initiativesIdentify, execute, and track P&L improvement initiatives in collaboration with local and regional stakeholdersProvide financial and operational analytics to support revenue growth, cost optimization, and informed decision‑makingSupport Finance during month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activitiesContract & Billing OperationsOversee customer contract lifecycle management in Service ERPs, including contract creation, modification, renewals, and terminationsEnsure timely, accurate billing for contract and time‑and‑materials servicesActively support cash collection efforts through resolution of invoicing disputes in coordination with Finance, Service Sales, and Field Service teamsData Quality & Process ExcellenceDrive high standards of data integrity across Installed Base, Contracts, Warranty, and related service systemsOwn and execute Service End‑of‑Life (EOL) processesMonitor and improve key service KPIs, ensuring operational discipline and performance excellenceEnsure full compliance with quality, audit, and regulatory requirementsCustomer & Commercial SupportMaintain accountability for profitabilityProvide service agreement and time‑and‑materials program managementSupport sales campaigns, contract renewals, new service agreements, and proposal developmentLeadership & CollaborationLead and develop a team with direct people management responsibility, including staffing, performance management, and capability developmentCollaborate cross‑functionally with Service, Sales, Finance, Parts, Repair, and Transactional teamsInterface regularly with the EAGM Business Operations team to share best practices and drive continuous improvementAct as a subject‑matter resource for colleagues, mentoring less‑experienced team members and leading low‑to‑moderate complexity initiativesQualifications/ RequirementsBachelor’s degree in business or related field of studyMinimum 8 years of progressive work experience in a business environmentProven leadership skills including the ability to motivate cross-functional teams to achieve business goalsExperience in team managementDemonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and drive process improvementStrong analytical and quantitative skills: Ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive changeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problemsStrong oral and written communication skills.
