Role Description:We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Site Architect to join our consultancy team in New El-Sheikh Zayed. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supervising architectural works during the construction phase and ensuring compliance with approved design documents, project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.The Site Architect will act as the Consultant’s representative on-site, coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure that architectural works are executed in accordance with the approved drawings and project objectives. The role involves reviewing submittals, conducting inspections, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and supporting project delivery through all construction stages.Key Responsibilities:Supervise architectural works on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Review and evaluate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and requests for information (RFIs).Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports, observation reports, and progress updates.Monitor the quality of architectural finishes and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project standards and specifications.Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to identify and resolve design and construction conflicts.Review contractors’ work progress and provide technical recommendations to support project objectives and timelines.Attend site meetings and represent the consultant in technical discussions with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.Identify non-conforming work and follow up on corrective actions to ensure compliance.Assist in reviewing contractors’ interim payment applications related to architectural works.Participate in snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.Maintain accurate site records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision and site-based architectural consultancy roles.Proven experience working with engineering consultants on residential, commercial, mixed-use, or hospitality projects.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, architectural detailing, finishing works, and quality control procedures.Experience in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical submissions.Familiarity with contract administration procedures and construction supervision practices.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows is an advantage.Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships.Ability to work full-time on-site in New El-Sheikh Zayed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with consultancy firms and large-scale development projects.Familiarity with local building regulations, codes, and authority requirements.Strong understanding of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and site inspection procedures.Membership in the relevant professional engineering syndicate or association is preferred.
