Working alongside a dedicated Project Manager who owns customer communication and stakeholder engagement, your focus is on the technical execution: getting systems built, deployed, running, and continuously improved.This role suits someone who thrives in the detail — diagnosing hard problems, building robust delivery pipelines, and ensuring platforms are stable, secure, and well-understood.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Delivery & DeploymentOwn the technical delivery of infrastructure and software solutions from build through to production handoverDesign, implement, and maintain delivery pipelines (CI/CD) using GitOps workflows and toolingManage infrastructure-as-code, version control, and change management practices across delivery workstreamsCoordinate with engineering and product teams to align deployment artefacts, configuration, and release schedulesEnsure deployments meet defined quality, security, and compliance standards before handoverInfrastructure & Platform EngineeringBuild, configure, and maintain Linux environments (RHEL / Oracle Linux) and Kubernetes clusters (Rancher)Manage containerised workloads — images, registries, runtime configuration, and lifecycle managementConfigure and maintain cloud hosting environments: compute, networking, storage, and Kubernetes infrastructureProvide Windows Server administration support for legacy platform scope where requiredOperate confidently within OSS infrastructure ecosystems — understanding community tooling, release cadences, and the evolving landscape of OSS services aligned to the platformPlatform & Solution TroubleshootingOwn technical investigations across the full stack: hardware → OS → middleware → application → integrationsDiagnose and resolve infrastructure, platform, and application issues in both delivery and production environmentsWork systematically to root cause, documenting findings, resolutions, and preventive actionsSupport escalated troubleshooting from operations and customer-facing teams, providing deep technical analysisSystem Monitoring & ObservabilityImplement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability tooling across deployed platformsDefine and track key health indicators; ensure operational visibility is in place at handoverRespond to and investigate platform health events; drive improvements to reduce repeat incidentsContribute to operational runbooks and alerting standardsScripting, Automation & GitOpsWrite and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, or similar) for deployment, configuration, and operational tasksImplement GitOps practices for infrastructure and application configuration managementMaintain pipeline tooling, ensuring delivery processes are repeatable, auditable, and version-controlledIdentify and eliminate manual toil through targeted automationSecurity & ComplianceApply security and compliance requirements throughout delivery — hardening, scanning, patching, and remediationEnsure deployed platforms meet relevant security baselines;
