You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.Main responsibilities:Develop & Implement: Design and write clean code for new software features using C++ and Python.Optimize Systems: Improve application performance through efficient memory management and parallel programming.Network Integration: Build and maintain reliable communication protocols and socket-based networking solutions.Test & Debug: Troubleshoot complex logic issues and ensure code stability through unit testing.Qualifications:3rd and 4rth undergraduate students in Computer Engineering, Electronics/CS and Communications Engineering, or a related field.Language Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of C++ (Modern standards) and Python.Computer Science Fundamentals: Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Algorithms.Concurrence: Basic understanding of Parallel Programming concepts.Networking: Knowledge of network layers, TCP/IP, and general network programming principles.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex logic issues.Familiarity with version control systems (Git).Experience with JavaScript and React for building modern web dashboards or interfaces is a big plus.Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.Highly developed communication and presentation skills.Why Working at Siemens Software?We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
