We partner with leading firms across North America and Europe to extend their operational capacity through a rigorous and integrated delivery model.Our Cairo Center of Excellence brings together highly skilled professionals committed to precision, reliability, and alignment with international standards.Role Overview – Structural Drafter / BIM Technician – Steel Detailing FocusThe candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality structural drawings, steel detailing packages, and 3D models for a variety of projects, ranging from commercial buildings to specialized engineering mandates such as excavation shoring, temporary works, and structural support systems.The role is primarily focused on steel detailing, including preparation of accurate shop drawings, connection details, erection drawings, and coordination drawings, while also supporting reinforced concrete detailing when required.Key ResponsibilitiesSteel detailing - primary focusPrepare detailed steel drawings, including framing plans, sections, elevations, connection details, member schedules, shop drawings, and erection drawings.Drafting and ModelingCreate detailed construction documents and 3D models using AutoCAD 2D and Revit Structure, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with project requirements.Structural DetailingDevelop precise detailing for steel structures as the main responsibility, with additional support for reinforced concrete structures when needed.Technical SupportTranslate engineering sketches, design concepts, calculations, and markups into professional, accurate, and coordinated technical drawings.Temporary Works Assist in the drafting and detailing of specialized structural systems such as shoring, formwork, bracing, excavation support, and other temporary works.Coordination and Quality ControlCoordinate drawings with engineers, project teams, and other disciplines, while reviewing deliverables for accuracy, consistency, constructability, and completeness.Technical RequirementsSteel Detailing ExperienceStrong experience in steel detailing is required, including understanding of steel members, assemblies, connections, fabrication requirements, and erection sequencing.Software ProficiencyAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Revit Structure is mandatory. Experience with steel detailing software such as Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, SDS/2, or similar tools is considered a strong asset.Material KnowledgeStrong understanding of steel structural systems and detailing principles is required. Knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing is also considered an asset.Industry ExperiencePrevious experience in a structural engineering firm, steel detailing office, fabrication-related environment, or similar technical setting is required.Language RequirementMinimum B2 level in English is required, including the ability to understand technical instructions, review engineering markups, communicate with project teams, and work with English-language drawings and documentation.Working Environment & RequirementsAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentComfortable collaborating remotely with international teamsStrong communication skills in English (French is an asset)What We OfferHybrid work model: 3 days/week at our Cairo office (Smart Village or Maadi)Direct collaboration with international engineering teamsExposure to North American standards and complex projectsA structured and performance-driven environment focused on qualityIntegration into a growing, high-impact delivery platform
