Develop and implement effective merchandising plans that align with company objectives and market trends. Identify and select products based on market demand, sales data, and consumer preferences. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts. Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover and reduce overstock or stockouts. Analyze sales data to evaluate the performance of merchandise and identify areas for improvement. Oversee the design and execution of in-store displays to enhance customer experience and drive sales. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and store operations teams to align merchandising efforts with overall business goals. Manage merchandising budgets to achieve cost-effectiveness and profitability targets. Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to adjust strategies accordingly. Provide guidance and training to junior staff and store teams on merchandising standards and techniques.
