Supply Chain Planning Analyst

About the RoleWe’re looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to help us improve planning, inventory performance, and operational efficiency. You’ll use data and analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, support procurement decisions, and help drive measurable improvements across the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., inventory turns, fill rate, lead times, OTIF, forecast accuracy).Support demand forecasting and planning to ensure product availability.Monitor and report inventory levels, identify excess/obsolete stock, and recommend corrective actions.Partner with Sales, Procurement, Warehousing, and Logistics to resolve supply and service issues.Create and maintain dashboards and reporting (Excel, BI tools, or reporting platforms).Perform root-cause analysis for supply disruptions, stockouts, and service level misses.Assist with supplier performance tracking and procurement analytics.Support continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, KPI improvements, cost reductions).Prepare recommendations and business cases backed by data.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.1–3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, planning, operations analytics, or related roles.Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).Experience with SQL and/or Power BI/Tableau (preferred).Knowledge of supply chain planning concepts (forecasting, inventory management, lead time analysis).Strong analytical thinking with the ability to communicate insights clearly.Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).Familiarity with procurement and/or logistics metrics (OTIF, lead time variance, carrier performance).Experience with statistical analysis and/or automation (Python is a plus).APICS/CSCP/CPIM or similar certification (nice to have).if you are interested or know anyone who might be interested send your cv to mahmoud.nader@elolasteel.com
