System Administrator

To assist in the administration and maintenance of the company's server infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation and support for business systems. The role supports server operations, performs routine maintenance, and troubleshoots issues under the guidance of senior team members.RESPONSIBILITIESServer Administration:Assist in administering Windows and Linux servers.Perform routine server maintenance and monitoring.Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory.Backup Operations:Monitor backup jobs and ensure successful completion.Assist in restore tests and disaster recovery exercises.Troubleshooting:Respond to server-related incidents and troubleshoot issues.Escalate complex problems to the Senior System Admin.Document issues and resolutions.Patch Management:Assist in applying security patches and updates.Ensure servers are up-to-date with critical patches.Virtualization Support:Assist in managing virtual machines and hypervisors.Monitor virtual infrastructure performance.Documentation:Maintain server documentation and configuration records.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years of experience in system administration or support.Experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux.Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).Understanding of backup concepts.Good troubleshooting skills.Good communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.Good Knowledge in Cybersecurity and Safety awareness
