We're on the hunt for a Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. This is a Full-Time opportunity for an experienced professional to make a tangible impact in the thriving Engineering - Construction/Civil/Architecture sector.Overview: As a Technical Office Engineer, you will be at the heart of our project execution, translating innovative designs into actionable plans. You'll be the crucial link between conceptualization and construction, ensuring precision and efficiency at every stage. Responsibilities:Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc.Prepare RFIs and send them to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.Follow up the material submittals and communicate with the consultant to obtain the approval.Issue the purchasing request and contracting request and follow up their implementation.Conduct estimated quantity survey to determine the quantity of material that need to be purchased or procured.Conduct the quantity surveying process to prepare required invoices.Prepare the subcontractors’ and client’s invoices based on the progress report sent by the site engineer.Prepare and follow up the Variation Orders and prepare Notice to Claim in cooperation with the Contracts team.Prepare periodical reports such as Quantity Executed Invoices and send them to the concerned departments in the headquarters. Required Skills:Exceptional command of Engineering principles and practices.Proven expertise in Technical Office operations, including drawing review, documentation, and coordination.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Demonstrable skill in AutoCAD for technical drawing and design.Experience with Construction Management processes.Adept at Quantity Surveying.Excellent Reporting and documentation abilities.Outstanding Communication and interpersonal skills, essential for cross-functional collaboration.Superior Problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex technical challenges.Experience Requirements: We're seeking an Experienced professional with 3-7 years of dedicated experience in the field, ready to hit the ground running and contribute from day one.Career Level Expectations: This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to deepen their expertise, take on significant responsibilities, and drive impactful projects within a leading firm.
