Technical Office Manager - Architecture - Aswan

Location: AswanDepartment: Engineering / Technical OfficeReports To: Project Director / General ManagerThe Technical Office Manager – Architecture is responsible for leading the architectural technical office team, coordinating design development, reviewing shop drawings, managing material submittals, and ensuring that all architectural works comply with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role also involves coordination with consultants, site teams, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.Responsibilities: Technical & Design ManagementLead and supervise the architectural technical office team.Review and approve architectural shop drawings and technical submissions.Coordinate architectural designs with structural and MEP disciplines.Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.Prepare and review RFIs, technical queries, and design clarifications.Monitor design changes and manage revisions efficiently.Project CoordinationCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and project management teams.Support site teams with technical solutions and drawing interpretations.Attend technical and coordination meetings.Ensure timely submission and approval of drawings and materials.Planning & ReportingTrack technical office progress against project schedules.Prepare technical reports and progress updates.Identify risks and propose corrective actions.Support procurement by reviewing material specifications and vendorTeam LeadershipManage and mentor architects and technical office engineers.Allocate tasks and monitor team performance.Ensure effective communication within the department.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree - Architecture Engineering Experience: 8–15 years of experience in architectural technical office work. Language: Excellent command of EnglishComputer Skills: Proficient in MS OfficeMembership in the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate is preferred.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of architectural detailing and construction methods.Proficiency in:AutoCADRevitBIM toolsMicrosoft OfficePrimavera (preferred)Familiarity with Egyptian codes and international standards.Working ConditionsFull-time positionSite and office-based work in AswanMay require travel between project locations
